nice to see someone else make their own dash fascia/valence
there's no wrong way, unless you don't make one for fear of the work
i did the same with fiberglassed in screws, you can see one in my pic above
if you plan on using the glove box door, might want to install it, it'll need a cutout to operate
be sure to plug in the ignition, dimmer and nss, that's the bump outs on my column cover
