Sitting 10 yrs & finally started!!
I bought this 1967 SWB & it sat in my garage 10 yrs. until this yr. It has the wrong box on it = 1980's style box. It has a 1988 350 engine with a 700 4 speed automatic trans, both of which have been rebuilt. First thing we decided to do was find the correct box. Ended up going to the Warren Tech Center CAR & SWAP MEET to buy a box from a fellow Craigslist person. While there, a person asked if I wanted a project truck that he showed me pics of & so we took off to see it. It is better shape than the original, so the original became the organ donor truck.
It is a 1967 LWB with SRW. Since picking it up we have bought a CPP Grand Slam kit. This has a front disc brake conversion, 2 1/2 " front drop & a 4" drop in the back. I have bought some Boyd tires & wheels that I found on Craigslist. I have bought new rubbers for all the glass, all new brake lines to go with the Power Brakes that we switched over from the donor truck & new harnesses for headlights & tailights. I even picked up a Power windows & Power door locks kit. Howard

This is what the Wheels & tires will look like. They are Boyd Coddington Smoothie II 17 x 8 x 6 lug Wheels with 235/50R/17 Kumbo tires. I got them off of Craigslist. The ones pictured on the truck will be for sale very soon.

Re: Sitting 10 yrs & finally started!!
The seats are just sitting there to see what the console will look like sitting there. I believe the console should be wider & taller? OPINIONS, PLEASE!! We are thinking of building one out of plexiglass & cover it with material to match the seat. It will be large enough for arm rests & even a CUSTOM SPOT for my GPS. PS. The driver's seat is power. Howard

Re: Sitting 10 yrs & finally started!!
What is the console out of. To me, it seems to fit in there nicely. Maybe make something to merge the front end into the dsh.

Re: Sitting 10 yrs & finally started!!
Thinks for the words of encouragement! The seats & console are out of a Mustang. Hope this doesn't affect the driveability of the car. Ford parts in a chevy. LOL! I was trying to think of a long console, something like the old T-bird used to have & I can't think of a GM product that had that long of a console?

Re: Sitting 10 yrs & finally started!!
Tonight we got the engine where it belongs!!! Put it in place so we could measure drive shaft as we went from 6 cyl. Driveshaft to a 350 with a 700r trans. Also have to work on different parts to complete engine compartments
