'72 Blazer that is getting drivetrain from a '91 Blazer - 350TBI, 700R4, NP241 & seats. This was a young kid's discarded project. He stripped the stock seats, bumpers, and the engine. Ran out of money on a race-motor that he was having built...........

Currently sitting on 33x12.5s..

Any ideas???? I want this to be a daily driver...

Good start.
Sounds like a solid plan for installing the later model parts.

For a daily, I'd run nothing larger than a 33" tire. [my opinion]
You can run a 33 without a lift and even do some decent wheeling if the wheel back spacing/width are correct.

I really like the looks of a 4" lift w33's on our trucks but for me it's to high as a daily driver if it's set up that way.

A 2" lift will ride pretty well if you go that route.
A 4" lift will involve 'jumping/hoping' into the truck

Above all, build it, drive it, ENJOY IT!!

Sounds like a good project. Will be interested to see how easily the new stuff goes in it. For a daily driver I would agree that you don't want too much lift. When I had a 4" lift on my 69 it wasn't hard to get into - though it is a bit of a jump now.

For daily driver, I would keep it simple, comfortable and reliable. Any modifications need to be basic stuff to avoid issues later on. I would go with minimal lift if any, keep tires towards the stock size--33' max but 31's will ride better. Avoid off road stuff like double shocks as they will kill your ride quality. Might go for an upgrade to: wiper washer, radio, ---add tilt, tach--vac, 73^ front anti sway bar and make sure your body is solid so you can take the top off as TOPLESS IS COOL!

Thanks for the advice and kudos

. I am definately keeping the slots. I will probably run Ralleys in the winter with studs. Not planning a lift but might go 2". Now I just got to get her on the road... I am planning about September... Got to plan about work schedual. I will keep updates coming. Thanks again....
