WTB Torque converter

I need a torque converter for a '89 700r4 tranny. Either new or gently used. I would like to use approx 1800 stall.
Thanks, Lane

Re: WTB Torque converter

I have a 1600 stall for a 94 4l60e. I heard alot of them interchange. If so, $40 plus shipping. Only #s on it are dghf2420 and 0411. LMK

Re: WTB Torque converter

Can you count the splines? I'll count the shaft. Is this used or new?

Used. 27 spline on the larg part of the input shaft. I think 28 on the small shaft.

Re: WTB Torque converter

Why was it removed from the original tranny? Just want to make sure that it is clean inside, no metal or junk from the donor trans. Thanks

Re: WTB Torque converter

Bought a lt1 and 4l60e to put in my 72. I rebuilt the engine and trans because I just didnt want to put stuff in there without rebuilding it. I dont know the miles but it drove and shifted fine. Will this fit your trans for sure?

Re: WTB Torque converter

I need to count the splines. I am at work, when I get home I will check. If it is the same, I'll take it. I will reply to the thread tonight.
Thanks, Lane

Re: WTB Torque converter

# of splines are on which shaft, ie...large or small. I will re-count them Monday when I go back to work.
