Need a bolt head measurement, please.
If someone has some time to measure one, I'm looking for the diameter of the head of one of the factory wood floor bolts. It is one of the 5 carriage head bolts circled in the photo.
The 2nd photo is one I removed when I replaced my floor. I didn't keep it unfortunately. Thanks in advance.

I should have a decent used one. I will check in the morning. They have a special name but for the life of me I can't think what it is..... LockDoc

Re: Need a bolt head measurement, please.
I’m not sure how accurate my measurement is because I’m checking it in the truck but I got about 13/16. With it being recessed I can’t really get a good reading but the hole is measuring just over 7/8.

I had to regroup and delete my first post. I didn't read your text close enough and just looked at the picture. I thought the picture you posted was a flat head bolt but I see you said it was a carriage head bolt. The original carriage head style bolt I have measures 7/8" head dia. x 1 1/8th inch long, (measured from under the head) 3/8 bolt size. The head is flatter than the carriage bolts of today and is perfectly smooth. I can send you the one I have if that will help.... LockDoc .
