The more I search, the less I know.

My 70 came with utility buckets. They were trashed.

Was planning on putting in sport buckets. Found some 73's and started searching to see if they would bolt in. Now I am not sure that even the stock Sport buckets will bolt in.

Question - Did utility equipped Blazers still have the same mounting holes as Sport bucket Blazers? How about front bench seat holes? Did Chevy provide holes for all options or just for what the truck was built with. Thanks.

The mounting holes are all the same as far as I know. I had a set of utilities that I never installed in my old blazer and the mounting looked the same as my current blazer. I believe you can mount a bench out of a PU without any issues too, you'll just have a few extra holes in the floor.

I don't believe your 73's will bolt in.

You could try removing the upper seat from the mounting frame. I just swapped my driver's seat and passenger seat because I was getting the gangsta lean in the drivers seat. It was a simple bolt and unbolt. You may find the same with utility vs sports.

The distance between the feet of the utilities and sports are differant....utilities are about 15 1/4".....sports are about 12 1/4" front to back, but you can drill holes and build the backing plate...not that hard, just a plate with some nuts welded to it

Mine came with sport, i am putting utilities in, no holes in the floor for the back feet

Unfortunately the 73+ brackets are different from either of the 69-72 versions as well... I've tried!
