1965 c10 12 bolt axle bearing removal
What is a good way to remove old axle bearings from my 12 bolt under my 65 chevy 10? I tried my dent puller with an attachment but did not work. I also tried heating it still did not move. Any ideas?

takes a pretty good hit with a slide hammer to get them out. just did them in the 71 this afternoon. but I used an axle puller slide hammer kit.

I used a slide hammer for mine as well. Made quick work of them. You should be able to rent the kit from your local chain auto parts store

Ok so after trying the dent puller again I gave up and pulled the carrier again and ran a long pipe in the axle tube and drove the bearings out Now all back together with new bearings and seals.

That's exactly what I do when I get a stubborn one. Have a 6' piece of sacrificial 1/2'' galvanized pipe for the task. I use it more often that not.
