I've seen it done.. It didn't look very comfortable for the kids in the back.. I wouldn't even try getting a adult back there..

Yeah I was looking into possibly making some brackets for buckets, and mount them in back of the rear seat, kinda station wagonish?

The one I saw had the normal bench and then some buckets that were right against the tailgate. He had a bunch of people in there and I don't know.. Just didn't look comfortable to me.. Plus gotta remember that the back is pretty tall so there isn't much leg room..

Mine is all stock , ( moved foward ) and a 87 K5 bench in the rear .
Tight for adults , great for kids ! The 87 k5 seat is smaller than the 74 bench seat

Re: 3rd row seats in a k5????

do the 73-75 bench seats fold down/forward? as that would be cool, putting the 87 rear bench in and folding down the bench(leg rest for ADULTS)im running a full bench with HUGE center fold down console(one of the reasons i chose it!)from a 98 dodge ram,i also like it because it has the built in seat belts, for the local haters in blue.it basically is a direct bolt-in ,(not currently bolted in as im working on the engine bay and fitment of either a 454 or a 6.0 ls lq9,havent decided(my gbodies are getting all my attention for now!)all im going to do is run some angle iron and bolt it down. my 86 i modded from 4wd to 2wd and made a "full convertible"(used a 74 donor)i didnt even look at the rear bench before i scrapped it? hmmmmmmm...
