UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
Anyone have a truck with the RPO UO1 roof marker lamps? These don't seem to common. I'm curious if the roof skin is at all different vs. non-lamp equipped trucks like the 67-72 models. Anyone have a GM diagram for these?

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
Hey that's cool. I always wondered who put those on my mother's half ton. Apparently the factory did.

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
I'm pretty sure the roof is the same, just has holes for the wires and screws. I love cab lights, if my Yukon didn't have a visor I'd put those lights on it....But pretty sure it was an option for any truck. But kinda rare for a 1/2 ton.

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
It would be fun to add a set. Curious what that all involves aside from the holes. Agree, the roof looks the same.
Sean do you have any close up photos of the lights?

I've got it at my house until I fix the air conditioning.

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
No special roof panel. I ordered them on my '92 K3500. My Suburban has a utility vehicle vibe and I've been wanting to get a set for it.

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
There is a write-up on gmt400.com with measurements and thorough details how to add them in.
If I can ever bring myself to drill the holes, I'll put the NIB OEM set I have on mine.

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
My windshield will be replaced next week. I'm going to find where the tabs for the headliner are while the glass is out so I can install clearance lamps on the 'Burb

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
The gmt400.com site thread on this addition was a huge help.
Now for the roof rack addition.

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
Joining late, but U01 was and is a free flow option.
You can check the box on the order form to add them to anything, and they are required on any vehicle over 80" wide. K

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
You bet: https://www.gmt400.com/threads/cab-light-install.117/
I was able to scrounge all GM NOS pieces for the install including the harness.

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
I thought it came standard on 3/4 and 1 tons. But the 3 trucks I have now, and a handful in the past didn't have em. I have a 99 1 ton CCLB, and the 2 3/4 tons in my sig, none have the lights. But yet I see have 1/2 RGLB plane janes with them. I like em tho!!!!

Re: UO1 Roof Marker Lamps?
I had to order them on my '92 K3500 single rear pickup. I added the tailgate lamps, the same as duallies.
