I bought a set of braided hoses and end for the Zoops pump and reservoir. The swivel nuts are quite a bit smaller than the hose itself. Is there an easy way to get them over the hose? I don't want to mess up the braiding. Attached is a diagram I found on the web.

The diagram you posted pretty much sums it up. It's a PITA and expect to get stuck with the braiding wire at least once. If you have to cut the hose the best way I know of is use a sharp chisel and smack the chisel with a hammer over the anvil part of a vise. It cuts it clean. I learned that trick watching some guy in John Forces pit crew. He was putting a new end or fitting on a hose between rounds.
