Looking to size up to 285/ 75's

Found a great deal on a set of 285/75's for my '84 3/4 ton with no lift, but wondering if I am going to have a problem with them rubing around corners. I have been running 265/75's for the last 10 years. Any expereince with them?

Re: Looking to size up to 285/ 75's

Check out TexasJeff's truck. He's running 285's with late model wheels. I recently pm'd him about it,he says NO rubbing. I have 285's on 8" wheels and they rub. It has to do with the offset of the wheel. I'm planning on factory late model wheels and 285's again.

Thanks Lance,
I'm going to go with it. I'll let you know how they turn (or wear) out.

I ran 285/75/R16's on mine for a long time with no rubbing. It's a factory 3/4 ton 4x4 with no lift.
