Dual Compressor wiring question????

All right this is what i have! i had a previous air compressor hooked up with with the set up in pictures number one.. its work perfect with my single and now that i have the dual relays from the new compressors i hooked everything up in picture 2 and they dont kick on???? but when i apply power directly to them they run fine! Their is power going into the relay but none coming out to the compressors???? Does that mean i have to 86 the existing relay and just use theirs? or can i just keep using mine?:banghead

Looks like you have 1 wire bridging 4 terminals in the second pic which is the coil circuit of the relay. Terminals 85 should be grounded and 86 needs to be positive. In your original set up with the continuous duty solenoid it was grounded internally the ISO relays are not.

edit>> There is no benefit in wiring relays in series.

Fixit the two that bridge together is just the grounds and as for the power wires everything is wired as the diagram...so can I just use my existing set up with ni problems???? I all ready ran that compressors to my existing set up and works fine! Or do inhale to start from scratch and do it how they recommend

There should only be 1 ground for each relay, the picture looks like you have it wired 2 per relay. As long as your original solenoid is rated correctly and is continuous duty, yeah nothing wrong with using the original set up.
