Keep an eye in the FS area and you might see one pop up. Good Luck

On a side note...as a premium member you could post a WTB (want to buy) then you would have the full force of this site knowing that you were in the market for a 67-72 gmc long bed stepside . Just a thought and again best of look in your search.

They are the uncommon one...all LWB Stepsides, especially the Fendersides. If it doesn't matter that it's factory original, you can buy all the parts to build a Fenderside and slap it on any common LWB Wideside.

Welcome to the forum. I spent a week in Doha on business several years ago. It was my first trip to the Middle East and a great experience.

You can easily run nation wide searches of Craigslist with Search Tempest. Good luck.

Re: looking for 67-72 gmc long bed stepside !!!

I have seen a few long steppers around in northern IL for sale, but most have the steps and fenders rusted out.

Like said before the steps are the hardest to find and if it has a factory spare tire mount on the side of the bed the fender is about impossible to find if its rusted.

I also have never seen a GMC long stepper, do not doubt they made them. My dad scored a 69 Chevrolet long stepper for $550 3 weeks ago .

Its a good truck, its in NC. Has alot of rust in it, but mechanically solid. Be warned.....

Re: looking for 67-72 gmc long bed stepside !!!

Heres the pictures. Stopped by really quick on the way to work. $1100 is what they want for it. I'm moving from here to California next week. I would pick it up myself if I were sticking around. Runs and drives. Super clean underneath. No rust on the floors or any of the cab supports. bed loos to be rust free as well as the roof and rain gutters. The only rust is in the cab corners and rockers. Looks to be a low mileage truck by looking at the pedals and the original sound deadener on the floor.

Re: looking for 67-72 gmc long bed stepside !!!

I dont mean to brag so sorry if it comes off that way but my donor truck is a c20 2wd longbed stepside, originally with wood bed. It does not have the tire holder . I imagine that is a rare find then?

Judging from the photos it's a three speed column shift manual.

Re: looking for 67-72 gmc long bed stepside !!!

Gotta love the long steppers. That's what got me into these trucks. My grandfather had a C20 longbed stepside on his farm. It was rusty and beat up. When he died we brought it home to my dad's farm and my brother and I got it running again. We would use it around there to haul brush and stuff. Eventually my dad sold it. Would love to see where it is now. Good luck with your search.

Re: looking for 67-72 gmc long bed stepside !!!

I think it could be had for around $900. The guy didn't seem to firm on price. You wont find a running C10 for much cheaper than that. It is definately going to need alot of work to be a nice truck though. It is a 3 speed on the column and it was originally a I6 truck. I think the guy said it has a 350 in there now.

Re: looking for 67-72 gmc long bed stepside !!!

Ok, now I´m asking for Help myself.... I am also looking for a long bed stepside, BUT GMC would be prefered over Chevy and to make it even harder, I want a K2500, so 3/4ton 4x4 with the spare tire mount on the drivers side and a manual tranny.

I know that is about as impossible to find as it gets, but in the north east, everything is rusted out... So if anyone has a truck like that or sees one PLEASE let me know! I would even spend some serious cash on one if I would find one!!!

Thanks guys!
