Holley 4360 base plate screws

I am going to install a holley 4360 on my 307. I bought a new spreadbore manifold for it. There are 2 screw holes in the center of the base plate that have no screws in them. After some research, I found that these carbs were commonly used to replace Q-jets and would mount on the 4 hole manifold. The issue I am having is how to close up those holes with the new open style spreadbore manifold. If I put 2 screw in those holes, they could fall into the intake, and if I don't there will be a huge vacuum leak. can I use a 4 hole 1/4 inch gasket with the open style intake? Has anyone else had this issue?
