Wires to remove ?
Does anyone have a list (or know where to find a list) of wires to remove from a stock 1963 GMC wire harness for a LS1 install?
Thanks,

Re: Wires to remove ?
Would it be easier to get a Stand alone harness?
If that's not in your budget or not your preference, I am sure someone on here has done this. Link to one supplier:https://www.psiconversion.com/produc...ng/500560.html .

Re: Wires to remove ?
This truck I am working on is unmolested, very clean stock wiring. With that being said do you think I should swap it out because it is 57 years old ?

Re: Wires to remove ?
Depending on the level of you build (daily driver ---Nice----Show Quality).
I would consider a full harness swap with a stand-alone engine harness. .

Old wiring has lots of resistance in it. It comes with age and unseen corrosion. |

I feel the same, you pushed me off the stump I want to start the PU and make sure things are correct, while I am waiting for a quality kit to arrive, does anyone know which wires to eliminate under the hood ?
