Can you use the stock spedo cable with the 5" Autometer Speedo?
Hey guys I'm looking to swap out my speedometer. Can you use the stock spedo cable with the 5" Autometer Speedo?
If so what adapter do I need? If not what should I buy? Is there any way to adjust the speedometer without swapping the gear in the trani? Thanks! |

yes ,no problem > dont know about speedo settings .Mine just runs 15 mph over all the time .

I changed mine to a cable for a 72 so that it would screw on to the autometer instead of just slipping on there

I thought the speedometer needed a threaded speed cable? The stock speedometer cable snaps on I think.....?
