24V question, have to start without separate solenoid

I know you guys will know the answer to this and even though it is not about these trucks I am hoping that someone will enlighten me. I have an old 1949 Lincoln SA 200 welder that is crank start only. It is wearing me out always crank starting it (or attempting to as is the usual). I talked to the welding whisperers and was informed that you can actually backfeed the welding generator with 24volts (2 batteries in series obviously) and that it will in turn crank the motor over. My question is this: Is there a momentary pushbutton switch that can handle this kind of voltage and amperage (upwards of 1500 CCA, not sure if that matters) that I can put inline without needing a separate solenoid or relay? The machine has a magneto and therefore has no electrical system. The only purpose of the batteries are for cranking it until the mag takes over. I am told that your negative cable goes straight from the negative battery terminal to the negative lug that the ground cable goes to and the positive cable is the one that goes from positive terminal to electrode lug with a temporary switch somewhere in the cable. Would either of these be correct or do I need something else?

Re: 24V question, have to start without separate solenoid

I think if it were me, I would try the Monarch switch because it is rated much higher at 200 amps compared to the 50 amp push button.
