Doesn't want to start

Hey guys;

Truck was sitting for 12-18 months and I didn't get change to prepare it for long storage due to work. Now that I need to move it, it doesn't want to start. I put fresh gas in it and checked all the fluids. Engine turns, I have fuel and spark but it just cranks with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Doesn't want to start

Do you see gas shooting from the accelerator pump nozzles when you open the throttle quickly?
Get a can of spray B12 Chemtool. Shoot some down the carb with the throttle open a bit. Crank it.

Will try it tomorrow since I don't have any on hand at this moment. Thanks.

Re: Doesn't want to start

If you've got carb cleaner spray that usually works too.
Chances are the inside of the carb is corroded with white stuff due to the ethanol in the gas and it attracting water.
What carb is it?

It is Edelbrock, 1406 if I remember correctly. I will pickup some cleaner on my way home.
