Help with lowering my 68

I want to lower my 68 C10, here's the deal, it has drums and 6 lugs all the way around and I really dont want to change it to 5 lug because I want to keep the original steelies on it. Will I have any issues with putting 3" springs up front and 5"s out back? Also if I go this route should I go ahead and get shock relocator brackets and a track bar, or will it be fine without it?
