Kinda cheesy but please look..........

Yes I know its kinda cheesy to do it this way but I'm strapped and don't know which way to go. I'll give you the brief history and rundown. Basically the cab on my 71 is going to heck. Cab corners shot and i'm tired of the lake at my DS feet when it rains. I found a 71 air cab for 50 bux and bought it. Needs new rockers, one cab corner and a couple small holes in the floor patched. I'm gonna go ahead and repaint the whole truck and I just got me a set of 2002 chevy truck seats for nothing from a buddy that owns a junk yard. I'm moving the tank out back and I bought me one of those 12 inch square subs that will hopefully go behind the seat. My only problem issssssssss I can't make up my mind what color to go with. The engine is lime green so I want to through that in the scheme but only a little cause its such a strong color. I've come up with 2 ideas. black on silver or blue on silver. The silver I'm going to use is the one Wes is using for his garden truck. (I hijacked the pic from Wes's post thanks Wes) I painted these designs but tell me what you think. This is the link for the silver color since i'm to retarted to figure out how to post it

1. blue and silver

2. black and silver

I'd go silver/black with chrome trim (black bowtie), or silver/black with white stripe (white bowtie). What color of interior are you using?

I think the blue goes better with the lime myself. Maybe because Kawasaki has been doing that for years.

The interior color is going to be silver mixed with whatever the other color will be. I'm kind of leaning towards the black because thats what color my current gauge panel is as well as my door panels. The seat that i'm getting is gray so it will go with the silver color. I just think that blue looks really good as well and thats why i'm having the post.

I agree with Weasel29gm, if you're not going to use the trim, there are plenty of designs out there that are subtle but will allow you to use the colors you want really well. .........Jerry
