Post Can you identify this?

These are pics of a 12 bolt chevy carrier (left) and an unknown carrier on the right.
I am trying to figure out what this is.

See the "Got it from behind on Ebay" thread that goes along with this.

Any help would be GREAT thanks.

Provide more info. What is the total height from outside bearing to outside bearing? How many ring gear bolts? what is the diameter of the bolt pattern for the ring gear bolts? Does it have any manufacturers stampings? etc. I'd guess either a Dana 60 or semi-floater 14 bolt.

I don't have exact specs cause I'm posting the pic for another guy. he thought that this was a 3.07 carrier and wanted a 3.73. I have a 3.73 and want a 3.07 so we were going to swap but It didn't work out cause this wasn't what he thoutht it was. I'll try to see what I can find out.

Thanks

From the picture it looks like a 12 bolt passenger car carrier. The car carriers are taller than the truck carriers.
