Cool Grille Bowtie Sticker 73 Blazer

Can anyone tell me where I can get a Bowtie Sticker for a 73 Blazer Grille?
I've check LMC, OPD, The company formerly known as Chevy Duty and eBay - no luck. I grabbed a nice, no cracks, 73 grille at the boneyard, but the bowtie is half removed and is faded.

Thanks!!

Re: Grille Bowtie Sticker 73 Blazer

I don't think they are a sticker. Every one i ever had from the 73-80's seem to be made from a cast metal base with a yellow insert.

Rally caps are the only place i think gm used a sticker.

This is my first 73 but it has the deeper inset grill with a deformed and completely faded sticker on the cast in bowtie. And, I just saw a 73 P/U at the boneyard with a nice decal/sticker/emblem - but wouldn't come off and the greille was for ....let's say junk.

Re: Grille Bowtie Sticker 73 Blazer

I have a 75 blazer and the bowtie emblem bolts onto the grille. Mine is kinda dull too, and I have been trying to find a new one as well. If I find a source I will let you know. Would appreciate if you would do the same.

By chance have you contact a GM dealer about it?

Sounds like a start to me.Or you may be able to get a custom decal off e(vil)Bay have seen them on there before solid colors and even confederate flags. You may also be able to get it off the grille with some Goo-Gone sticker remover
