Heavy Duty Drop Spindles (3/4 ton)

I want to drop my 3/4 ton burb, but want to retain the 8 lug rotors all around. I've seen conversion drop spindles that make you change to 5 lug rotors, does anybody make a 8 lug heavy duty drop spindle for 1972 trucks?

I found these spindles on ebay but they're for 73+ trucks and I'm not even sure if they'll let you retain the 8 lug rotors.

Re: Heavy Duty Drop Spindles (3/4 ton)

I would not buy them. The spindle pins, ball joints, and tie rod ends are all different for all of the models he lists. There is 73-87 light duty, and 73-87 heavy duty(1500), witch are both 1/2 ton trucks that have different spindles. The 73-87 3/4 ton trucks (2500) are smaller that the 1 ton trucks (3500) also. No one spindle will cover all of those years and all of the different models. This is one of the biggest problems with buying from ebay. You have to know what you need and what is provided in the after market so you don't get taken buy someone else that doesn't know what he has. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Listen to Wes. Reading the description makes it sound like while they "would fit" the frame I think you would not have 8 lug rotors with those spindles.

IIR Bell Tech used to sell dropped spindles for 3/4 T trucks.
