Reverse light switch

I have a 68 c10, 3 speed manual. The guy before me converted to a floor shift. Anyone know of a good universal reverse light switch so I can loose the dash switch that was installed???? Thanks

Re: Reverse light switch

EDIT - NEVERMIND EVERYTHING FROM HERE DOWN - Just re-read that you said converted to 3-Speed MANUAL. I'm a bonehead.

Lokar makes one...I am a fan of their stuff. Have quite a bit of it.

P/N is BL-1400U

Can get it at Jegs.

Also can get it here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LOKAR...temZ8076210116
(I have bought from that seller on eBay before with no probs).

Summit probably sells it too - along with a whole host of speed shops if you want to search for a low price.

Re: Reverse light switch

it'd be a lot cheaper and easier making up a plate and getting a switch from radio shack or somehere than trying to modify the auto tranny rev lite switch pictured for use with your manual 3speed tranny and linkage

Re: Reverse light switch

What kind of shifter is it - Most shifters have that as a accessory / I know B&M and Hurst offer it for most of their shifters -
cdowns is right though - they sell those micro swithes at O'reilly's and you can make a bend tab for reverse.
