Hey guys I bought some more wheels for my truck and have to buy a different style lug nut for them because the ones on the truck will not fit the new wheels. My question is what size lugnuts are suppose to go on this truck? I pulled one off when i was checking the wheels that was stripped and it says it is a 12m 1.50 but I can't find anywhere saying what size they suppose to be. Figured you guru's could help me out on this. Thanks!

bgarner. Your truck should have 9\16 nuts on them. I'm not sure if they should be USS or SAE thread pitch but I'm leaning towards SAE. I don't think they switched over to metric lug nuts until 88 on the C\K and later than that on the burbs. jim

If it's a 6 lug 4x4 (1/2 ton) they are 7/16-20 RH.

2wd 1/2 ton is 1/2-20.

8 lug trucks (3/4 and 1 ton) are 9/16.

Yeah the parts stores say 7/16-20. Maybe someone put the wrong ones on. Will have to take them off and check them out. May have to put new studs in as well. Thanks guys!

Almost 2 years of work, but it was really worth the effort. Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.
