275/45/20 tire on 8.5 rim

Just doing homework. I got to save up for the rubber. Seems like the best deals are on that size and on 245/35/20 and 245:40/20. I think that 275/45/20 would be too big on that rim.
What were you going to put on them?

I was going to run a 255/40. Nitto and a few others make them in that size. Looks like the 245/40 would be pretty much the same except a lot better priced.

Check out the 255/40 and 295/40 from Toyo the Proxes S/T ii's.

That's what I'm running on my truck and love them.
