looks like a black bucket wth a lid. Used for emissions take the fumes from the tank and stores them in there, when the motor is started the are sucked in and burnt off. Somthing like that. I would say if you in Cali chances are you need it.

so i got something else to look for in my garage......see you guys in a few days, if you don't hear from me in more then 3 days please call the city of mountain view police department.......lol

i think i remember how it looks....
