Uncles Monte Carlo- 1970 with 400

He and I are trying to figure out what to do with it. Very original and mostly rust free, just has spots of surface rust and maybe a couple small holes. Has 400 SBC and about 80,000 miles. He has had since almost new. What is it worth? How rare is it to find with a 400? I may just make him an offer for it or help him sell since its just deteriorating with a bad starter and now sitting outside on the farm. It is a good color

Build it! Those Montes were sweet rides. They are basically a Chevelle with nicer trim.

Starters are cheap, and a nice set of rims and tires with that color would really make that a sharp looking car.

A set of rally wheels and white letter tires will change the look of that car dramatically.

Yep, i never really liked the look but then I saw these pics below- you guys are right about the wheels! Still like the chevelles but maybe this car is too good to let go of?

Just found out the mileage is only about 44,000 and those are accurate. He has owned since 1975 and it was basically new when he bought it. There is one small rust through spot on right fender down low and the paint is peeling a little on right rear. So what is the car worth ballpark? Relative scarcity with the 400 SBC?
