Alternator upgrade?

Running an old 64 Impala 283 that has a 50 amp alternator.

Since I am updating a few electrical items I am told I should update the alt. to a 100 or more amps.

Is there a direct bolt up alt I can pick up at the bone yard or what is an easy inexpensive solution?

Rewind the one I have maybe?

Re: Alternator upgrade?

What is the correct model for the 80-94amp alt? The Ultima 01-0220 shows up at 78amps.

There is a ULT 01-0268 which is 94amps and a DL7194-6-12 94amp or DL7294 (94amp)also. Which one would be recommended as a direct swap?
