rear end swap

I have a 65 c10 stepside, my rear end is grinding and noisy, what year truck can I take a posi rear end from and be a direct fit or close to it? If there's any pics cool....

Assuming your truck has the coil springs and trailing arms, a direct bolt in differential would be from a '65 to early '70. If you are just looking for a posi unit to install in your housing, the truck 12 bolts were used in most C10's from '63-'82, and K10 and K5 Blazers from '63 to '79.

depends on your bolt pattern

I converted mine to chevy small bolt front clip and a rearend off of a 1969 firebird

Thread Hyjack in progress. What years will fit a 64 C10 that have 6 lugs? Looking for 373 or taller gears so I can get rid of the 410/411 that I have now.
