another fuel smell post

searched, but couldn't find a answer. Filled truck with fuel and after sitting, I have a fuel smell in the cab. The tank is wet where the metal filler neck is mounted to the tank itself. Will the neck come off of the tank by taking the two nuts off? I would like to try to reseal. Fuel level was below where the hose meets the neck.

Thanks for the reply, but mine is leaking where the neck actually attaches to the tank with two bolts.

1965 Lower bolt is wet with gas but the neck is dry above where the hose connects to the tank neck. Sorry the picture is sideways
