Question about BB Motor mount brackets

Here are the mounts I have for sale, and I was recently informed they are 73+ mounts. I agree they are different, but I though 73+ mounts had to have spacers under the top bolts to make them work. Mine bolt in with no problem except you would have to drill the back hole. No biggie, though. I though they were farther off than that? The mount on the right is the 73+ style, and the one on the left is the 72 that I got with the frame.
Hmmm.

the one on the left is a 72 the best way for me to tell the diff is the single rib on top instead of 2 like the 73 and up

Mine turned out to be 73+ also even though I pulled them off a 70 suburban. I think the one rib on the tower must be the easiest way to tell the difference. I would use them if I was going to build a big block truck even though they are not original to a 67-72 model truck. I cancelled my auction on EBAY and will probably just keep them since there seems to be little demand for them.

another way to tell them apart. the 72 mounts have rounded corners on top. 73 have square corners.

Anyone want them, I'll sell them for $50 plus shipping. They will work the same, just have to drill one hole. Still better than the 67-71 BB mounts. I'll even blast and powdercoat chassis black for that price. I really have little use for them. I already have BB mounts. They came in bunch of stuff I bought.

ahhh, no, the 73+ mounts for $50. Blasted and powder coated. I stopped smoking crack a couple years ago, so I know what the 72 mounts are worth. I am going to use those ones.

How much are these one-ribbed, rounded corner on top, BBC mounts worth anyways! I know where some are now that I know what they look like. This could become something like the tow hook business. HEHEHE!!!

They will for between $75 and $100 depending on timing. If no one is looking, then you won't get much, but if a bunch of people are wanting them, you're in business.
