2wd and 4wd both had them available, most i've seen on 2wd were on one ton's but i have seen them on 1/2 ton's and suburbans too.

Consider yourself LUCKY if you do find them. They would be the score of the year. Best of luck....

Tow Hooks are still out there to be had if you get lucky. I picked up a pair of hooks last fall at a swap meet for the outstanding price of $20. Marked "67-72 Chevy/GMC " laying in a pile of "stuff" on the floor. When I seen them I 'bout threw my shoulder out of place reaching for my wallet. Also found a factory tach several years ago when parts hunting in a local yard for $15. No printed circut but the harness and lens and all the rest of the gauges were still in the bezel. Minus the gas gauge? Go figure ? Good finds are still to be had but have to be lucky and in the right place at the right time. Also helps to have a little extra cash to talk with when you go parts hunting. Keep lookin' !!

lucky!
I still have never seen tow hooks on a 2wd. They appear to be so honkin huge, that they would scrape the ground mounted to a 2wd. I have my eye out for them EVERYWHERE, because stupid p/o let some one take them off of my truck. They are on the option sheet but not the front

If I did get towhooks...I'd probably spot weld the bolts to the frame so we won't have a repeat performance of the towhook thievery.

I was at lunch today and was headed back to work and up ahead from me was a 69 chevy 4x4 k10 that looked like it had been to
h-ll and back I mean the bed was strapped together with link chain just to hold the tail gate in place . the passenger floor board was flapping as it went down the road but when I blew passed I looked in the rear view and what did I see you got TOW HOOKS. I slowed back down to get a good look and try to get his attention but he never looked . Owell just had to say what I seen today.
