PC Investments classic car dealership.

I'm looking for a new project and I would rather not do a full frame off project.
I'm up in central MN. There is a dealer "PC Investments" in Sherman TX that posts on the MPLS CL.
Has anyone dealt with them?
I'm looking at a 1988 C1500 SB. Looks nice. Low miles. Pretty clean per the pics.
I'm hoping I wouldn't need to fly down and look.
Any input would be great good and bad.
Never bought a project without looking at it first.

I didn't read any of the reviews but the rating looks good.... 154 reviews.

Re: PC Investments classic car dealership.

I've bought a couple cars on line. No problems. Not that there couldn't be some but if this dealer has a good reputation that goes a long way. I'd call them on the phone and kind of feel them out. If something doesn't seem right then walk.

I'm looking at another car myself. I have the same dilemma. Do I trust this person?
I've seen cars online for less but do they really have a car or just pictures of a car?

Reputation is everything.

Re: PC Investments classic car dealership.

The 88 on their site looks to be a super nice truck..They are out there stuffed away in garages. My experience is that places like that have the room ro store and the time to mark them up 3-5 thousand and let them go. We have just one such guy in Paducah. But he does buy the best examples he can find. Here's hoping that this outfit does as well. The 85 squarebody swb 4x4 looks delicious. Last year there was a VERY similar truck to that one that sold from 'Classic's" in Cadiz Ky for 39,995. I say from just looking, his pricing seems to be in line with our local dealers that do this sort of thing. I sold a car to a fellow, sight unseen, last winter. Worked out just fine.

Re: PC Investments classic car dealership.

I am an hour from them and in Sherman quite often. The lake house is just 20 minutes from them. I have spoken with them a couple times and their reputation is one of the strongest in that buy'em and sell'em industry.

I have a bought a few classics and wouldn't hesitate to buy one from them. Got my eye on one right now but, the WARDEN refuses to allow any more $$$$ into the early release program. Says I can buy another one if I sell my truck.

As an FYI, they are just over an hour from DFW airport...at the right time of day.
