Back up light conversion

I don't know much about these kits but they look pretty cool. I wouldn't really pay that much but I would love some for a christmas present.

Re: Back up light conversion

I would be interested to see if anyone here has tried them as well. My backup lights are horrible!

Re: Back up light conversion

Those look good.

My nephew has been putting LEDs on Everything

Some of them require extra resistors so they will be compatible with the flasher or the system that they are being used with.
Or another flasher designed to run with LEDs.

These look like they are ready for any system.

Funny thing I thought about when I seen the bulb is.
You would hope your backup switch did not stick on the way home one night or you would blind the drivers behind you

Re: Back up light conversion

I have used LED bulbs for backups from Vleds and superbrightleds and they do make a huge difference in visibility over the stock 1156 bulbs. They last a long time too.

Re: Back up light conversion

Never seen that style..
But I did use these in all my bulb locations on my C30..
I was hoping for more light.. they are better than the standard bulbs, but I was a little disappointed

I put a flood style lamp under my bumper hooked to a switch.
