Lower Radiator Hose?
PO installed a 78 305ci in my 72 c10 and the incorrect radiator. I just so happend to have a radiator out of a 69 blazer R.I.P. but the lower hose the PO installed was a universal flex rubber hose and it is too short. Now my ?. Will 1972 SB chevy truck lower radiator hose fit regaurdless the CI of the engine or do i need to find a longer flex hose?
Thank you for any input. ![]()

Re: Lower Radiator Hose?
A small block is a small block when it comes to these things.
If you have a short water pump, buy a hose for a 72 truck. If you have a long pump, get one for a 75 model truck. Don't run a flex hose, they strain the radiator bung too much. Get a proper molded hose. They are still readily available.
