snow plow mount pics
I know some of you out there are using these trucks to plow snow. What do your plow mounts look like? ANYTHING has to look better than mine! LOL

Re: snow plow mount pics
The bolts should hold the major part of the load.
The only benefit you "might" gain from the weld may be to keep the bracket (& bolts) from becoming lose. Welding the bolts would have worked much better. My guess is low amperage and not grinding the paint down to bare metal prior to attempting to weld... ![]() |

Re: snow plow mount pics
Yes I agree, if you have the resources, replace by all means.
![]() Do keep in mind the less heat you apply to your frame horns, the better off you'll be in the long run. Frame heat = brittle steel ![]() |

Re: snow plow mount pics
I'm DEFINITELY making new mounts. I just needed some inspiration. After some online research I think I'll mount reese receivers to the frame horns, and fabricate plow mounts that I can remove. Thanks!
