where to get new leafsprings
Im looking for new 52" leafsprings. Where have you guys bought from? Ive priced them at a few places for about $250 shipped for both. I took apart the used set I have to clean them up, and found a crack on the main leaf.

I bought from a local shop in Tacoma WA, i didnt have to pay shipping so my price was a little cheaper. The name is Gitts Springs, if you google them it will bring up there web site. Hope this helps.

Most of the suspension shops around omaha ne that do spring work for big commercial trucks and semi's run around $350.00-400.00 dollars installed last time i had a monster set of leaf springs made/installed on one of my old 1 ton trucks .
so id suggest looking in phone book under suspension or heavy trucks,the shops that cater to the 4x4 truck guys selling tires/wheels and all that fancy stuff tend to be more expensive |

I ordered a set of 52" 1/2t springs from SDtruck springs today. $270 for both to my door. I'll update with some pics when they show.

If you want try Eaton spring in Detroit. I've used them and they are great.
