Virginia Member-Finally pics to post

Hey guys & gals, finally got some pics posted of my '72. Mildly built Small Block 350/turbo 350, new interior, repaint, new 22" Raceline Phat Bullet's. Next is to get her down more. Currently only dropped a couple of inches. Serious debate in my head between air vs. static? If I can get these 22's tucking I will be happy!!

Thanks for looking! TONS of great trucks on here!

Hi from West End Henrico! What part of town are you in? Nice lookin' truck! I say go with the bags. I'll be running 22s shortly and I'll be bagging mine to get it lowered over those big wheels.

Re: Virginia Member-Finally pics to post

Thanks for the compliments all! Really appreciate it.

BMERDOC, I'm in Chesterfield! Do you have a suggestion for who can maybe do the bags? I have about 3 folks right now that I know of. Would consider doing it myself (family has been building street rods / hot rods since I was about 5) but just don't have a garage/equipment set up to do so anymore??
Thanks.

PS...dang it, I got 22s 'cause I didn't think there were many C10s Rollin' around Richmond like that!! Lol. Guess there will be at least one more! Oh well, how bad a$$ will we look if we ever cruise together... all laid out tucking 22's. Lol. Take care man.

Re: Virginia Member-Finally pics to post

I'll be running 22" transport wheels and dog dish hub caps so don't worry I can assure you they'll have two completely different looks.

As far as the bags are concerned I am equipped to install the set up if you need someone. I have no problem lending a hand. You are more than welcome to bring it out this way and I'll help you out. That way you can still do it yourself! Have you been looking at kits?

that looks great!!! I have the same wheels in boxes waiting for the snow to melt and have them mounted. Mine is static and slammed so can't wait to tuck. What size tires did you go with?

There you go again making this guy spend more money. LOL This stance sets this truck off and I think you may have just sold him.

Re: Virginia Member-Finally pics to post

Awesome truck either way, I just thought he might like to see it bagged before dropping the coin to make it happen. I kinda leveled it out a little more too.. but he may want to keep the rake. Still though, bagged he could do either.

I hope I didn't come across wrong. I was giving you a compliment. I really enjoy seeing the before and after photoshopped pics. It really lets you know what the truck could look like. In this case I really like the after pic and I assume the OP does too.

Re: Virginia Member-Finally pics to post

Thank you to everyone for the great compliments!

CC69Rat...that is AWESOME that you took the time to photoshop that pic. Funny thing is that I did the same exact thing today myself! LOL. I didn't do as good of a job though so thanks again!

BlueChevy68...I think you may be right. I think seeing that pic just made me spend more money! I know that air ride is what I want, just wasn't sure I wanted to drop the green to do it but, seeing that makes me thinks that if I don't do it, I will always wish I had! I had air on my last '53 Chevy 3100 pickup and loved it.

Guess folks will have to stay tuned as to what happens!!

That is a sweet looking truck. I'm not much on the bagged, 22" wheels scene, but I defnitely can appreciate a nice truck! My personal taste is more of a 4/6 drop with stock rallys. Oh, and BTW, welcome from Mechanicsville!
