I think I scored..
First, this is not a for sale thread so I hope I am not violating any rules. I found these sitting on the passenger floor of a 72 c20 cheyenne and got them for 50 bucks for all four. I think these are the rare poverty caps but I am still a newb so enlighten me.. What are they and what do you think they could be worth.

As I recently found out they are not poverty caps since they are chrome. They are the top model hub caps for a 3/4 with 16.5 wheels. I wish I was lucky enough to find a set like that, even though I need them for a gmc. I say nice score they look to be in good shape.

I think those were used up til 80, not 100% sure but the 67-72 were chromed and had a blue bowtie.
Those are for a 3/4 ton. I've been trying to find 1 decent one for a while now.

Yeah they had blue bowties in the center.. its really faded but it has a blue tint..

if the "black" centers are convex they are 67-72 if they are concave they are 73-later. the 73-later ones wont fit our trucks the axle housing will hit the center. just fyi they look like they are in very nice shape. now as far as rare ??? I don't know about that of course just about any original parts are hard to find for our truck $50 is a good deal, I have seen similar sets sell on feebay for $100.

Thanks coops.. They are convex so Im pretty sure they came off the 72 c20 that I found them in.. I dont have a 3/4 ton and plan on running rallye wheels anyway so I guess Ill just hang on to them for now. I guess they arent that rare, but are they being reproduced? I havent seen any in all my catalogs..

The post '73 WILL fit. Just push out the centers. I've done it numerous times. If you strike it against a bean bag so the "memory" of the material relaxes it will stay that way.
