Anyone running this combo on the 55-59's? Having issues with the bag not fully compressing

Have you asked MMW about it? Or Portertbuilt?

Are you using the bags that they suggested? I'm not and never will be a bag or laying frame fan but just from reading different threads and from my friends experience there is a big difference in the way bags from different manufactures tend to work.

Are the shocks bottoming out?

From reading MMW's website a few minutes ago they build A arms specifically to work with the dropmembers so I don't think that is an issue as long as you did get the ones designed for the dropmember.

The shocks are not bottoming out. I'm thinking the dropmember for the 1955-59 are differnt. From my research it looks like the upper bag mount is at a more extreme angle on the 55-59 than for the other trucks.

I have contacted MMW I was just wanting to talk to someone with some experience

The Task Force guys are just starting to use those as they haven't been out very long. I think there are one or two on here who have the crossmember but am not sure what control arms they are using or how far along they are on their trucks.

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
