Help with lights!!

I need help!!!! Am having trouble with the brake lights, if I press on the brake pedal both lights come on but when I use the passenger blinker the driver side brake light turns off. I just don’t understand why. If I turn my headlights both blinkers work fine. The only problem is when I press the brake and only when I use the passenger side blinker, if I press the brake and use the blinker to make a left turn my lights work perfect.

Wink Re: Help with lights!!

Check the rear housing and make sure it's grounded good.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Question Re: Help with lights!!

Check the connector under the dash make sure it's ok.The brake signal if I remeber right goes through the turn signal so it feeds up to the steering wheel and then back down. You may have to pull the wheel and see if the turn signal is bad. Inside column.

Re: Help with lights!!

It’s just irritating the turn signals work fine with the headlights on and off the problem is only when I step on the brake and I use the right turn signal my left brake light turns off.

Re: Help with lights!!

Turn signal switch most likely, contact inside bad or dirty, might need a good cleaning. Had one the contact melted into the plastic, same symptoms....
