On this weeks edition of Dirty Money they went to Bibbs Auto Recycling in New Jersey, near NYC. The show had a car theme. At the yard the got a couple of old Cady hood and a 57 (wrecking yard guy said it was a 55) tailgate. They showed the truck it had a decent front clip too. While they didn't say anything about it in the show they also grabbed the hood, it was on the truck when they returned and I saw in in the background. They cut the Cady hoods in two, bent the driver end up as a back support, you sit on the front of the hood, with the grille filling the part between the hood lip and ground. They put the tailgate (very rusted out) in a frame with glass and used it for a coffee table. If I remember right they sold all three pieces for $2100 to a NY bar owner. I just hope the 57 hood does not get the same treatment. They paid $100 each for the tailgate and 2 other hoods. plus some misc stuff. It was probably filmed this summer so the rest of the truck might still be there. I google them they show right up. No vids posted of the episode yet.
