Hi there everyone.

In 1993 I owned for a short time a 1971 C10 and it was a beauty.

For 25 years I’ve been pining for another and tonight it’s finally going to happen.

This evening my nephew is picking me up a 1970 C10. He’s in Arizona so the plan is to do a few things to it then ship it to me in NY.

It’s a little outside the traditional look, but it’s in great shape and can’t wait to take it for a ride.

Anyone have any advice on a shipper to consider for a cross country truck move?

Nope. Brokers galore on the web which appears how these things are handled. I pay them and they find a truck. Unless there’s another, better way (other then me driving it from AZ to NY)?

If you are on Facebook you can find owner operators to ship it . I used USHIP once , never again . The broker lined up a driver and tried to jack us both around . The driver called me and told me he was there for my truck and the broker cancelled the deal on him wanting to renegotiate the price . He said they would call me next to do the same and they did . They cancelled my contract so I hired the driver directly to haul for the price the broker originally quoted me .

Or have it shipped.
Pick up a Hemmings. Available at big box book stores. Tons of shippers in there. Don’t select the cheapest one. You need to pay for quality.
