Re: Now This is Crazy...

It's crazy that a retail store has become so powerful that they are now developing concept trucks.
Can't imagine the cost.
I've got a Walmart exclusive Hot Wheels, but an exclusive semi?
They are playing the social conscious card with their trucks and not their employees
How's that air-cooling work in a traffic jam?
It's turbine, not turbin. When did language change?
Must have cameras for rear view.
Boy, what a blind spot from those a-pillars
Can I get one with a visor?
Walmart should spend money on helping get products made in America again

Funny thing about it, does Wal Mart actually have a bunch of trucks on the road? I know there's a bunch of Wal Mart trailers out there, but I thought most of the tractors I see aren't Wal Mart's. I forget the name on the door, but it ain't Wally World, it's another company out of AR.

Yea, JB Hunt is out of Springdale, AR (close by) I used to work for them back in the early 80's when they weren't so big. I've heard they have over 7,000 trucks now. Werner I believe is Nebraska.

doesnt matter where they make the stuff. In 10-15 years it will be all robots anyway. Factory work is a dead job. learn new skills because that one is never coming back and especially in the US. furthermore do you really want that toxic crap being dumped in your creeks? We are just getting the US cleaned up after the industrial revolution. Let china filthy up their land for awhile.
