So what are the prices currently? I'm gonna buy another one in the next week or so, wood floor this time I think. I think I paid 2100 plus 400 shipping for the one I bought.

Our wood bed kit for a 67-72 is $2204 + about $225 (could possibly be cheaper) for shipping to a residence . That includes everything but the wood.

Re: Complete Fleetside Bed ?

They are all auto metal direct / tri plus . I ordered a set of bedsides from carid.com this summer and they came from AMD in a Woodall stamped box with $99.00 shipping (the owner of Woodall also owns southern kentucky classics ) When I went to order another set from carid.com the price jumped from $349.46 a side to $478.00 so I called Woodall which led me to soky who offered me the sides at $439.00 each for Tri plus they're supposed competition at $160.00 each shipping ?

What it all boils down to is One factory in Taiwan , I mean really think about it how many factories would produce the same parts for a limited market on the other side of the earth ?

Until someone shows me distinct differences from 2 different manufacturing companies that's my story and I'm sticking to it .Goodmark, Key, Triplus ,Woodall . Someone prove they're different

A wholesale account at AMD is $7,000.00 to sell any of their body panels at 35% off list.

I got mine from Southern Kentucky Classics, very happy with the fit and overall quality. It came with all hardware even though I bought everything stainless for it.

Re: Complete Fleetside Bed ?

I think she quoted me $2900 (Nsane) plus shipping for the bed w/ steel floor and SOKY was $2300 plus shipping and they said it included every part.
My bed is pretty bad ,take way too many hours to fix it properly .

Re: Complete Fleetside Bed ?

I just ordered one from GMCPauls and it arrived this week. Everything looks good and it fit all together with a little persuasion here and there. It is a shame I need to cut up the floor to work in my application!!!

I will also add that the bed was shipped from Southern Kentucky Classics, which was the same price as GMCPauls. Apparently GMCPauls has Southern Kentucky Classics drop ship the bed kits for them!

No we get the bed kits from Woodall Industries not So. Ky. Classics, they ship there wholesale orders under there retail brand name to promote there retail business to there wholesale customers customer. In regards to previous remarks about bed side manufacturers. There are at least 2 possibly 3 Tri-Plus, & Apex we know of for sure. Tri-Plus make 67, & 68-72 SWB, & 68-72 LWB bed sides. Apex makes 67-72 Custom bed sides, ( no stake pockets or side marker openings 68-72 SWB bed sides, & 68-72 LWB bed sides. 1 manufacturer of floors Apex, multiple manufacturers of tailgates, front bed panels, rear wheel houses.
So it's just not 1 factory in Taiwan doing it all.

Re: Complete Fleetside Bed ?

So... Like I thought 1 manufacturer of STOCK style bed sides . Credit to GMC Paul's for putting that issue to rest . So find the best price with shipping and buy them . I can't say all but I'm assuming most are drop shipped to keep handling and shipping costs down , you may want to check with a few of your local body shops who order sheet metal parts almost daily . You just may be pleasantly surprised to be able to save on costs and shipping .

No but almost right, at least 2 manufacturers of ( we don't order from some of the manufacturers making these parts that are known lesser quality and we've heard 1 has or is expanding in to the bed sides also )but we haven't confirmed this )

68-72 LWB, & 68-72 SWB bed sides Manufacturers APEX & TRI-PLUS

1 manufacturer of 67 bed sides SWB Manufacturer TRI-Plus

1 manufacturer of 67-72 Custom bed sides Manufacturer APEX

Paul Jr @ GMCPauls
So, WoodAll industries in Southern Kentucky Classics than?
Just curious?

I am happy with the bed kit I was sold and the process was flawless ordering from GMCPauls. I will be ordering more in the near future! The worst part of the whole deal was the a$$hole UPS freight truck driver, but that is a different story!
