It's the second hoop that makes it interesting. I've never seen a double like that in a blazer. I've seen them for trucks, but I didn't know they made them that fit under a Blazer top.

I'm not saying it's bad in any way. There have been a couple guys on the board in the past with custom double roll bars and they looked great. I've just never seen it in the pre-fab and what appears to be a Smittybilt roll bar.

Sure ya have.

Welcome to the board from VT, enjoy the ride.

Small thing worth note though.
The type of air cleaner your running has a reputation for catching fire.

Re: new to the thread and heres my pics

I agree on the air cleaner, but not only that, you may want to have your return spring facing forward. More of an even wear on your throttle shaft bushings.... JAT

Re: new to the thread and heres my pics

I've got a pic of a dark blue K5 somewhere that has a black double roll bar. I does look mean. Its a nice side view pic with the top off.

What seats are those in the back? Rear seats facing the rear?
I like that purdy new carb. Is it the regular finish or the endurashine? Hard to tell in the pic its so shiny. I want to get one for my K5. One of many things on the want list, lol.

Re: new to the thread and heres my pics

Is the rollbar chromed? Looks like a pretty solid Jimmy.

On the issue of safety, it looks like you have a glass fuel filter - many will tell you they aren't very safe. Just something to consider.

Do you have any pics of the rollbar with the top off to see a side view?

Re: new to the thread and heres my pics

well first off thanks 4 your compliments and the other questions answered is the seats facecing the rear are blazer seats maybe from a different year dont know i ll take some pics to find out. the other would be the roll bar they came out of a 85 blazer. and they are chrome. my carburetor is a 600 cfm brand spankin new edelbrok finish. going to change the air cleaner now and the fuel fillter. the return spring i just put it like that cause the original came that away.
