Made in....?

Anyone seen this before? What does it mean? LH taillight shows this but RH side just says "Made in USA". Just a head scratcher.

I almost feel like the way the "USA" is crossed out, the Canadians should've had a little more pride, by putting an exclamation mark after "Canada".

WAG, US mold rebadged for use in a Canadian plant? Far cheaper to change the US to Canada than made new molds.

I have seen this before, but to me, it didn't really matter than much.

^ mold moved to Canadian soil. Easier to use the grinder to scratch out usa, add canada, vs weld up the mold, repolish it, and then add canada.
