Ls2 fuel pump?

When I got my ls2 I also got the fuel pump with it. I took the pump assy apart today and it looks like the pump has a built in regulator. So i should only need to run one fuel line from the tank up to the rail correct? I take it dumps the excess pressure back into the pump housing? Or do I still need the wix 33737 filter?
Thanks

Re: Ls2 fuel pump?

What LS2 pump? GTO,Corvette,Trailblazer,SSR? I wouldnt run a used fuel pump & buying a Delco module for whatever application your engine came from will be as much as a new fuel system most of us are running on our swaps.

I run a Delco EP376 fuel pump with a Delco GF822 reg/filter (Wix 33737 is equivalent)

If you run a Fuel Pressure Regulator in the tank......No need for a filter/reg setup, Just a filter.
