Rear wheels on '68 Step side??

Ok guys, here's the problem. I'm itching to get wheels for my baby, but the body shop is taking longer than expected (it always does huh). They have the bed off the frame and all that so I can't do my own measuring as I would like to.

I want to know if any of you with a 67/68 Stepside can take off a rear wheel and measure two things:

#1) The distance from the mounting pad on the drum, to the to the box of the bed or (max backspace)?
#2 From the mounting pad on the drum to the inside lip of the rear fender?

I would really appreciate it if someone can check this for me! I'm hoping that someone already is working on their truck and can just measure this for me really quick.

Thanks alot,
Taylor

Normal backspacing for most wheels is 3.75in and this is normall fine for a 275/60/15 size tire, width wise, if you are going for something wider 295/50/15 you should use a 3.5in backspace wheel, which is a custom wheel.

295/50/15 inch wheels the tire at it's widest width is 12 to 12.4in
and will not fit up under tire well. it brakes all most even with fender edge. also this tire is 26.7in tall, Rim 8-11" Rec. 9.5"
275/60/15 inch is rim 7 - 9 rec 8" tire is 28" tall

Front are you have a lot of room for backspacing, so if you want to pull front tires inbound increase from 3.75 normal to 4.75

My friend runs 295 40 20's all the way around on a new Chevy.
I wanted to run 275 45 20 on the front and 295 40 20 on the back...

I'd still really like to know what the measurements are for those two questions on a stepside, someone please help me.

Even if it won't fit on the back I want to know those measurements so I can run some numbers on different wheel sizes and such!!!

Thanks Bowtie
